The Kokomo Kings

The Kokomo Kings have been described as being "more rock´n´roll than rock´n´roll" and having "energy level 11". After years of backing a long list of international blues artists like James Harman, Mud Morganfield, Big Jack Johnson, Lazy Lester, Louisiana Red, John Primer, Big Joe Louis... and playing with a number of Scandinavian bands like The Instigators, The Domestic Bumblebees, Paul & The Blue Delivery... they decided to start a new band and do their own thing. The whole idea with the band is to play nothing but primitive, groovy Saturday-night music made for dancing.

The Ameripolitan Music Awards in Memphis nominated the Kokomo Kings to best rockabilly band 2018, and the band won the "Band of the Year 2018" and the "Entertainers of the Year 2021" award from The Blues Lounge Radio Show in the U.K. In 2022 they won both the "Entertainers of the Year" and "Artist of the year" from The Blues Lounge Radio Awards.

MFC Chicken

When tenor sax player Spencer Evoy arrived in London fresh from Canada, little did he know that his quest to reignite the spirit of the rock'n'roll sound of the American Pacific Northwest would start outside a chicken shop on the Holloway Road. Since those early days, this poultry-power rock and roll group have released 4 award winning LPs and a fistfull of instantly collectable singles on Dirty Water Records (UK) and FOLC Records (Spain).

Sie gehören mittlerweile schon zum Festival-Inventar und entzücken das Publikum immer wieder aufs Neue. Daher bekommt ihr am Samstag Nachmittag natürlich wieder die legendären "Dynamite Dudes" zu sehen, die in Form von mehreren halbstündigen Shows den Nachmittag versüßen. Wer die Band schon einmal oder des Öfteren gesehen hat, weiss, dass der "leichte" Energieüberschuss rund um den Bassisten "Mitch Farty" immer wieder für neue Überraschungen sorgt und extrem unterhaltsam ist. Auch musikalisch gesehen setzt man immer wieder noch eins drauf!

(Austrian Blues-Punk Orchestra)

Two musicians, three instruments, zero guitars: The DeadBeatz are the most compressed blues-punk band in the world, with the energy of two V8 engines! Not only do the two Austrians do without a guitarist. They have also opted for the anything but ordinary combination of harmonica, double bass and drums. Thereby David Karlinger operates the gunpowder mainly with his feet, while he is busy on the harp. Bernie Miller is responsible for bass and lead vocals. The result is a straightforward groovy mix of blues, punk and a pinch of rockabilly.

Twisted Rod

(Authentic rockabilly from Czech Republic)

Twisted Rod is a three-piece rockin‘ combo based in Prague, Czech Republic. They play highly energetic, red-hot 50s inspired music. They are considered to be one of the most authentic rockabilly band in the Czech Republic. Currently, they have three studio albums under Rhythm Bomb Records out, numerous gigs around Europe and uncountable amount of drunken beers under their belt. Get wild with Phil pickin' the guitar, Speedy slappin' the ol‘ dog house and Dave bangin' the drums!

High Steppers

(Raw rockabilly from the mid 1950’s)

High Steppers are a rockin’ trio playing their version of raw and primitive rockabilly from the mid 1950’s, sometimes flavored with a little honky tonk and groovy country bop. Teaming up powers across the nations the band played shows around Germany, Austria and Czech Republic and recently were invited at festivals like Tear it up and Trash'n'Burn.

The Fuzillis

The band features the high energy rock and roll twang of guitar, tenor sax-tones, thunderous jungle rhythms and low down tones of the boss of the bass. Mixing up a sleazy atomic age r'n'r cocktail blending Link Wray and the craziest Las Vegas Grind tunes with a large shot of Grady Gaines' Upsetters, a dash of The Fabulous Wailers, a slice of Nick Curran and a sprinkling of Chuck Berry, they always deliver amazing live performances.

DJ Rocking Boppin Henry

(50's Rockin music from Netherlands/ Austria)

Henry joined the rockabilly scene in 1982 and started Radio DJing 19 years old in 1986 around the city of Eindhoven NL. In the nineties he moved to Austria and has been Radio DJing weekly for over 22 years in Salzburg (Radiofabrik) Linz (Radio FRO) and Graz (Radio Helsinki). Rocking Boppin Henry plays several styles of 50's Rockin music such as authentic Rockabilly, Hillbilly, Jive, Doo-Wop and Rhythm and Blues, and has also been DJing for over 38 years at various events, festivals and clubs in Europe!

DJ Nomad

Nomad ist ein DJ der sich seit 1995 dem Auflegen mit Vinyl verschrieben hat, er treibt sich als Tanzlehrer (mit Heidi) oder als DJ an den Plattentellern in der ganzen Welt herum! Sein Repertoire beginnt mit Root Rock'n'Roll der frühen 50er, also von Jump Blues und Western Swing über Doo-Wop, Rockabilly, Rock'n'Roll bis zum Rhythm'n 'Blues und Soul der frühen 60er. Selbst kann er natürlich auch immer dabei erwischt werden, wenn er hinter dem DJ- Pult zu seiner eigenen Musik tanzt!
